Grant Helps Fund Trail Connection in Lilburn

A $100,000 grant will help create a bike and pedestrian link from Camp Creek Greenway and Lions Club Park.

From a Gwinnett County government press release: With the help of a $100,000 Recreation Trails Grant from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Gwinnett County commissioners on Tuesday approved a new greenways trail connection in Lilburn. The project will create a bike and pedestrian link from the Camp Creek Greenway to Lions Club Park, which is currently undergoing renovations. The new 0.8-mile trail will connect to the 2-mile Camp Creek Greenway trail built by the city of Lilburn. The construction includes a new 700-foot boardwalk, asphalt trail and a 60-foot long concrete bridge underpass at Rockbridge Road along Camp Creek.
