Lamar Lussi, director of encouragement at Providence Christian Academy, is being honored for his dedication to the school and the city. During Friday's basketball game, the long-time staff member who helped found the school in 1991, will be inducted into the schools Hall of Stars. He will be the ninth inductee, according to a press release from the school. The public is invited to attend to congratulate Lussi, meet his wife of 58 years, and sign a special guest book at a reception in the Elementary School Commons until 6 p.m. Everyone who attends basketball games will receive a free gift and chance to win a one‐of‐a‐kind Lamar Lussi bobble head, according to a press release from the school.
