Walmart officials plan to hire some 300 people for a new store in Stone Mountain.
Walmart officials hope to open a hiring center for a new Stone Mountain supercenter in early February. The new store is expected to hire as many as 300 employees. It is currently under construction on Memorial Drive near the N. Hairston Road. There are no further details at this time, spokesman Bill Wertz told Stone Mountain-Lithonia Patch.
