New Plant Upgrades Water Treatment
Yellow River Water Reclamation Facility brings modern technology to the world of waste water treatment.
The newly updated Yellow River Water Reclamation Facility off Tom Smith Road in Lilburn is filling some mighty big shoes beginning this week. The $277 million wastewater treatment plant, an updated version of its old self, will make it possible for county officials to shut down six older, smaller plants that are much less efficient. The reason that can happen? Technology.
