Unprovoked, the man stood up and began cursing at a woman customer. “I got mine in the car,” he said, according to the police report, believed to be a threat that he was going to get a gun. He left the restaurant, got into his car and drove away. Gwinnett Police interrupted an apartment robbery in unincorporated Norcross, during which a group of armed masked intruders reportedly confronted the occupants while looking to steal a stash of weed. Most of the robbers climbed out a window when the cops knocked on the door, leaving behind a 15-year-old accomplice, who confessed to the crime. This week we have the story of a “snatch-and-run” theft of Christmas toys from Faith in Serving Humanity, a Walton County charity. The toys were for the Secret Santa Program and included items for many age groups. Picking up dinner: Employees at a Johns Creek Whole Foods were on to a woman who looked suspicious while she pushed around a cart filled with enough food items to make a holiday feast.
