'No Soliciting' Film Director, Actor Talks With Patch

Will Dove, a native of Lilburn, is seeing his dream come true, as his film "No Soliciting!" runs for another week at the Plaza Theatre.

This month, Will Dove, a 24-year-old graduate of Parkview High, is seeing his dreams come true. And, beginning Friday, the public has another chance to be a part of that dream. His film, "No Soliciting!," will continue its exclusive engagement at Atlanta's Plaza Theatre Jan. 18 - 24. It's the culmination of lots of tenacity and ambition for the young filmmaker and actor. Inspired by Dove's own experiences as a brief door-to-door salesman, "No Soliciting," took several months of writing and fine-tuning to finish the script. After years of making small projects and working for production companies, it is his first attempt at a feature-length film. So far, it's showing at the Plaza Theatre, and Dove also has submitted it to several film …

Lilburn Resident's Personal Life Inspires 'No Soliciting' Film

Will Dove is the writer, and an actor, in the film "No Soliciting," which is running at Atlanta's Plaza Theater in January.

Following a standing-room-only, sold out premiere last week, "No Soliciting!" continues in an exclusive engagement Jan 18-24 at Atlanta’s historic Plaza Theater. Will Dove, a Lilburn resident who directs and co-stars as the film's dimwitted party-boy “Harry Lutz,” drew on his personal experiences in door-to-door sales as inspiration for the script. “Everyone hates you, even before you speak. And yet your livelihood hinges on selling them something that they probably don’t need or even want,” Dove recalls about his old job. Filmed in an around the Atlanta area, the movie is the story of a 30-something office worker “Dan Wood” (played by Ryan Lewis) tries to get his life back together after losing his job and getting dumped by his cheating …
