In Search of the Perfect Thanksgiving Turkey Recipe
A few years ago, my sister found the perfect turkey recipe. Then she lost it. This one comes pretty close.
A few years ago, my sister found a recipe for turkey that's steeped in brine and herbs for a day or so, then stuffed with apples, oranges and onions before roasting. It was, my whole extended family agreed, the best turkey ever. Last year, my sister couldn't find the recipe. She found one that's similar, but without all the herbs.
