I am a Louisiana native, born and raised to be one of the swamp’s finest. I married a very supportive man from the other L.A., Los Angeles, California on September 10, 2001. I only mentioned the date because the very next morning changed many more lives. I am a mother of six children, who range in age from college to elementary school. When I am not announcing youth football games, or transporting and exchanging children, or coaching cheer, or volunteering with PTA, or coordinating dance events at my church, or organizing youth events, or attending family functions, or entertaining friends, or planning community events, or researching multiple family histories on Ancestry.com, or providing community resources, I like to spend my time cooking, listening to music, and reading.

I believe that all beings should be respected. I believe that life is a reflection of specific choices. I believe that choices determine the character of a person, and that responses to consequences portray the values of the environment. I believe that the character of a person determines their survival abilities. I believe that all beings should be prepared to survive. I believe that I have a purpose to empower others to find the mechanisms necessary for their survival. I will not compromise my ethics, however. Things must be just and fair, or I will not be a part of the process.
