Lawrenceville Highway Package Store Robbed at Gunpoint

Lilburn Police are looking for two black males in connection to the June 27th incident.

Lilburn Police are looking for two suspects in connection to an armed robbery that took place at a package store off Lawrenceville Highway.

According to the Lilburn Police report, the incident occurred at Depot Package Store around 10:49 p.m. last Thursday, June 27. The manager told authorities that he was walking toward the back of the store when he heard the front door chime. Two masked men approached him and forced him to the ground while pointing a gun at him, he said.

They dragged him to the front of the store, and he complied to their orders to open the register. They took the funds from the register and left. It's unclear if they left on foot or through a getaway vehicle, according to police.

There was another employee in the back, but he apparently ever heard any of the commotion from his coworker or the suspects.

Surveillance tape shows that both men had thin builds, were between 5'6" and 5'8", and wore blue jeans and black shoes. One was wearing a white shirt and the other was wearing a black shirt. One also had a gray hat and the other had a black hat with green writing.

Their masks differed, too: One was wearing a white hockey mask and the other had on a white bandana.

An officer found a slide on the ground and it was placed into evidence. Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office K9 units attempted to track the scent of the suspects but were unsuccessful.
