Atlanta Area Dogs Need Your Help

Most dog owners are aware of the dangers of heartworm disease and the importance of heartworm prevention. Unfortunately, not all dog owners are able to afford heartworm prevention for their dogs.  If you want to help change that and get that warm, fuzzy feeling that comes from doing a good deed, read on.

Through my business, Zutilla Veterinary Housecalls, I am raising funds to provide heartworm tests and 12 months of heartworm prevention for 100 dogs from low income families. The dogs in need will be targeted with the help of The Humane Society of the United States (Pets for Life-Atlanta). During the first phase of the campaign, I am seeking to raise $5050, which will help the first 50 dogs. After the funds are raised, I will travel to each dog's home to administer the heartworm test and leave the owner with a 12 month supply of heartworm prevention.

I am utilizing the crowdfunding website www.indiegogo.com to collect contributions.  Please follow this link to read more about the campaign and to contribute.  The only way this can happen is through contributions from people like you!  Even if you can only give one dollar, it will help. If you are not able to contribute,  please share the campaign on your social media sites.

I am very excited about this project and I know that with your help we can raise the money that is needed.  Heartworm disease is a horrible illness that is very easily prevented. Will you help make a difference in the life of a dog and his owner today?
